The Very Rev. Fr. Ikonom Peter Totev begins on Oct. 19, 2011 his new service as our Cathedral Pastor in New York City. St John of Rila (NC) also blessed Fr. Peter's first Divine Liturgy in our Sts. Kiril and Methody Diocesan Cathedral.

His Grace Bishop Daniil

With great joy we announce that His Grace Bishop Daniil Trendafilov Nikolov of Dragovitsa arrived in New York City.
With the blessing of His Holiness Bulgarian Patriarch Maxim and according to the decision of the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church - Bulgarian Patriarchate he started his new service as our Vicar Bishop, effective September 17, 2011.

Bulgarian Orthodox Church-Bulgarian Patriarchate rejoices.

On July 2-4, 2011 Bulgarian Orthodox Church-Bulgarian Patriarchate celebrates 40th anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch Maxim (1971 - 2011).
On the occasion of this jubilee the clergy and laity of the Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Diocese of the USA, Canada and Australia send our warm prayers and best wishes for God's help and great mercy for many years ahead.
